Texas Rangers trade Chris Gimenez to Cleveland Indians for cash considerations

The Texas Rangers have traded catcher Chris Gimenez to the Cleveland Indians for cash considerations, Evan Grant just tweeted.

Gimenez has not played for the Rangers this season, having been on the disabled list all year after a leg infection sidelined him in spring training.  He has been on a rehab assignment with the Frisco Roughriders prior to his being designated for assignment yesterday to make room on the 40 man roster for Bobby Wilson.

Interestingly, Gimenez was also traded to the Indians, by the Rangers, for cash considerations in August, 2014.
