Tuesday Morning Texas Rangers Update

The latest news and notes on the American League leading Texas Rangers

Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning. I just assume the Rangers have decided that all games in Oakland are scheduled days off.

Levi Weaver recaps last night's loss by the Rangers by the score of a lot to not nearly as many.

Jeff Wilson unfortunately had to write reactions to last night's game without violently throwing up everywhere.

T.R. Sullivan writes that Cesar Ramos had a rough outing (not to mention whatever transgressive extremity horror film Tom Wilhelmsen was living in last night) but made no excuses.

Wilson writes on why the Rangers decided to wait on putting Adrian Beltre on the DL and when we might expect to see him in the lineup again.

Sullivan writes about Yu Darvish going back on the DL but with the encouraging news that his MRI results came back clean. Even if the Rangers had won last night, is a win without Adrian Beltre or Yu Darvish truly a win at all?

Evan Grant expounds on the Darvish soreness and concludes that the Rangers and Darvish did everything right in this situation.

Jared Sandler's weekly check-up on the Rangers include a bunch of fun notes about how good the Rangers have been which we can look at and forget last night's game entirely.

MLB.com's Mark Chiarelli previews tonight's game where the Rangers will try to beat the A's but probably won't because that doesn't appear to be in the cards for Texas against Oakland this season.

Finally, the DMN Ballsy Podcast crew chatted about a Fall Classic victory being the goal for the Rangers this season.

Have a nice day.
