Robinson Chirinos is back behind the plate today, and Mitch Moreland is getting the start at first base

Jeff Curry-USA TODAY Sports

We had a scare yesterday when Robinson Chirinos was hit by a ninth inning pitch, bringing back memories of the broken forearm he suffered on a similar play the first week of the season that landed him on the disabled list.  But not only were the x-rays negative, Chirinos is back in the lineup today, catching Martin Perez.

The lineup:

Choo -- RF

Desmond -- CF

Mazara -- LF

Beltre -- 3B

Odor -- 2B

Moreland -- 1B

Elvis -- SS

Chirinos -- C

Perez -- P

Martin Perez is going up against St. Louis righthander Mike Leake.
