MLB has released the latest numbers on the A.L. All Star balloting, and three Rangers -- Adrian Beltre, Elvis Andrus and Ian Desmond -- are among those listed on the leaderboards.
Elvis and Beltre are each in fourth place among shortstops and third basemen, respectively. Beltre is approximately 850,000 votes behind the leader at third base, Manny Machado, and Elvis is approximately 1.5 million votes behind the leader at shortstop, Xander Bogaerts.
Ian Desmond currently ranks ninth among outfielders in the balloting. He's roughly 750,000 behind Mookie Betts for the third spot in the balloting, and about 700,000 votes behind Mark Trumbo and Lorenzo Cain, who are fourth and fifth.
