Profar sits again, Holaday starts at catcher

The Rangers are sticking with their usual options in the lineup, except for Bryan Holaday getting a rare start

Lance Iversen-USA TODAY Sports

The Texas Rangers are rolling with their usual position players today, except that behind the plate they are going with Bryan Holaday, who hasn't started since June 9th, and who has only started twice this month prior to today.  It also means that Jurickson Profar is starting the game on the bench for the 7th time in the last 10 games.

The lineup:

Choo -- RF

Desmond -- CF

Mazara -- LF

Beltre -- 3B

Prince -- DH

Odor -- 2B

Elvis -- SS

Moreland -- 1B

Holaday -- C

Martin Perez is on the mound for Texas, squaring off against Clay Buchholz, who is pitching for Boston.
