Travis Demeritte and Ronald Guzman have been named to the Futures Game rosters, according to the MLB Network on Twitter.  Demeritte is the Rangers' representative for the U.S. roster, and Guzman has been named to the World roster.

Demeritte, a 21 year old second baseman, is hitting .255/.339/.569 for high-A High Desert in the Cal League.  The 30th overall pick in the 2013 draft has had a breakout campaign after playing just 53 games in the regular season last year due to a suspension.

Guzman, 21, is also having a breakout year, in his case while playing first base for the AA Frisco Roughriders.  He's slashing .290/.352/.486 for Frisco.  He was part of the Rangers' big J-2 class in 2011, getting a reported $3.45M bonus.

The Futures Game will be held on Sunday, July 10, 2016, at Petco Park.
