Adrian Beltre leaves game with leg injury

Adrian Beltre injury: After losing Yu Darvish to shoulder tightness, the Rangers saw their future Hall of Fame third baseman Adrian Beltre limp off the field holding his left leg. Beltre has a history of leg-related injuries but we can always cross our fingers that his exit was precautionary.

Things were going too well for the Rangers, apparently. The Baseball Gods refused to abide.

Jurickson Profar came in to run for Beltre and finished the game playing third. No word yet on the severity of the issue for Beltre but we'll keep you posted. Or just close down this site and take up a new hobby. Either/or.
