73-52 — Martin Perez’s bad fourth sinks Texas

Stop me if you’ve heard this before, but Martin Perez pitched really well except for one inning, and in that one inning, the game got away from the Rangers.

Perez took a 2-1 lead into the bottom of the fourth. At the end of the fourth inning, it was a 6-2 Rays lead. Texas rallied to make it 6-4, and had some chances to tie it, but fell short.
