The Ranger offense has slowed down since the All Star Break, which has been the subject of a fair amount of grousing from Rangers fans. Taking a look, Adrian Beltre and Mitch Moreland have been great, Jonathan Lucroy has hit a bunch of homers since he arrived at the end of July, and no one else with any at bats to speak of is above an 800 OPS.
Perhaps the most notable drop-off is from Ian Desmond...after being talked about as an MVP candidate in the first half of the season, Desmond is sporting a .215/.244/.336 slash line since the Break. Texas really needs him going again at the top of the order over the final month-plus of the season...
