The Texas Rangers have made a minor deal, sending A-ball infielder Dylan Moore to the Atlanta Braves as part of a three way trade that has Jeff Francoeur going to the Marlins and international slot bonus money going to Texas.
Moore, 24, was a 7th round pick out of the University of Central Florida in 2015. He has split the season between low-A Hickory and high-A High Desert. He's a guy in the organizational depth category.
There's no indication yet what the bonus slot the Rangers are getting is. Regardless, this increases the amount the Rangers can spend without incurring penalties
UPDATE -- Joel Sherman and Evan Grant are both saying the Rangers are getting three international bonus slots -- one from Atlanta and two from the Marlins.
UPDATE II -- More from Evan:
I'm told between this deal & deal that sent Ryan Strausborger to Seattle, Rangers acquired max allowed in extra pool money: $1,078,700
