The Texas Rangers are the betting favorites in the latest set of odds released today by Bovada.
In the aftermath of their big deadline deals, the Rangers are now the favorite to win the American League pennant, according to Bovada, at 11:4, and are tied with the San Francisco Giants with the second best odds of winning the World Series, at 13:2. The Chicago Cubs remain the World Series favorites, at 7:2.
The Rangers are currently 1:3 favorites to win the A.L. West, with Houston being next, at 9:4, and Seattle behind them at 14:1. Oakland is not on the board.
Cole Hamels is the second favorite to win the A.L. Cy Young Award, at 5:2, trailing just Chris Sale, while Nomar Mazara, the early A.L. Rookie of the Year favorite, is now at 15:2, with Michael Fulmer being a prohibitive 2:5 favorite.
