Colby Lewis went 3.1 innings for Frisco tonight in what may have been his final rehab start before being activated from the disabled list.  Lewis allowed 5 runs on 8 hits, striking out 2 and walking 1.

Lewis's stuff wasn't getting really good review from the folks who were there, though after the game Lewis said he felt like he was back in spring training and trying to get stretched out.  The thought had been that Lewis would be activated and start for the Rangers against Houston on Sunday (it had been Saturday before Lewis's scheduled start yesterday was rained out, pushing it back a day).  The team will now need to decide if Lewis is ready to return to the major league rotation, or if he will need another rehab start.

Lewis, who has been out since late June, is currently on the 60 day disabled list, and thus a move will need to be made to clear a spot on the 40 man roster for him once he is activated.
