66-47 - Rangers wake up from nap in 9th, rally to win 4-3

Rally Rangers score three in the 9th to beat the Rockies

Isaiah J. Downing-USA TODAY Sports

I'd honestly written about 500 words about how the Rangers somehow made a game at Coors Field seem boring. Then Elvis Andrus and Mitch Moreland happened and the Rangers won another one-run game to make everyone else in baseball super salty.

The Rangers hadn't lost consecutive games started by Cole Hamels since his first two starts with Texas a year ago. I should have known they wouldn't let that bearded professionally handsome man down.

Handball gif of the day:

Player of the Game: Elvis Andrus had the clutch one-out, two-RBI single to plate the tying runs in the 9th and scored the eventual winning run on a Mitch Moreland double.

Up Next: The Rangers conclude this brief trip to Colorado with an afternoon affair with A.J. Griffin on the mound against RHP Tyler Chatwood. First pitch is scheduled for 2:10 pm CT.
