Not a ton of huge numbers for the Spokane Indians hitters this year, and the guy who had the best OPS on the team, Xavier Turner, has been suspended for fifty games due to testing positive for a drug of abuse.
But there are solid performances by several of the Rangers' younger prospects there, including 2016 fourth rounder Charles LeBlanc, and teenagers Leody Taveras and Anderson Tejeda. Taveras is probably the team's top position prospect right now...his slash line for Spokane isn't pretty, but he's just 17, playing against guys four years older, and he's impressed just about everyone who has seen him this year.
