The minor league regular season is over, so we can take a look at the final stats for the hitters and pitchers at each level...
I don't know that there is a ton to see here at Round Rock...Joey Gallo was a disappointment over the final couple of months, and 150 Ks in 433 plate appearances at AAA is a problem. I'm not as sure as I was a couple of months ago he's the answer at first base in 2017, at least to start the year.
Drew Robinson had a nice season, though he's likely gone after this year as a minor league free agent. I expect he'll end up getting to the majors at some point, as a versatile lefty bat, even if it is just for a cup of coffee.
Brett Nicholas had a solid season with the bat, though it will be what he does with the glove that determines whether he can stick in the majors as a backup.
