Monday Morning Texas Rangers Update

The latest news and notes on the back-to-back American League West Champion Texas Rangers

MLB: Milwaukee Brewers at Texas Rangers Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning. I’m hoping for another fun season from the Rangers in 2017. Or a boring one that ends in a World Series win would be fine, too. Whatever may be, we’ve got Adrian Beltre to look forward to.

As for news and/or links? It remains slim pickings as far as the Rangers go.

Matt Kelly of MLB dot com wrote about the upcoming season featuring the 20th year of Interleague play which is significant to the Rangers only by the fact that they played in the very first one ever against the SF Giants back in 1997. (Spoiler: They lost.)

Also, remember Neftali Feliz? He’s back, in pretty good free agent setup reliever form.

Have a good year!
