Good morning.

T.R. Sullivan writes that Joey Gallo and Delino DeShields figure to have ascended to fixtures in the lineup with their efforts from 2017 but the Rangers don’t know yet where they will play.

In the case of DeShields, Evan Grant writes that the Rangers don’t even seem all that sold on him. Grant also ruminates on the Rangers heading into the offseason and already dooms them to a best case of competing for the second wild card next year.

Elvis Andrus is justifiably the Rangers’ nominee for the 2017 Hank Aaron Award for best offensive player. Yes, you read that right.

Bill Plunkett of the Los Angeles Daily News wrote about the Dodgers makeover for Yu Darvish — who had one of the best outings by a starter this postseason last night — which doesn’t paint the Rangers in a particularly good light when it comes to knowing what the hell they’re doing when it comes to pitchers. No one show this article to Otani (Or, someone show this article to Otani so he doesn’t wind up here only to be ruined).

Want to get a jump on your furious rosterbating? MLB Trade Rumors have released their arbitration projections for each team.

Football folks silently protesting inequality during a sonically unpleasant song: Well that’s just offensive to our troops and servicemen, I tell you h’wut. A redneck baseball player literally cramming the flag betwixt their nethers: A zany celebration that’s fun for the whole family!!

Have a nice day!
