The Texas Rangers met with Shohei Ohtani Tuesday afternoon

The Texas Rangers and Shohei Ohtani are meeting this afternoon in Los Angeles, per multiple reports on the Tweeter, and the meeting is occurring, apparently, as I type this.

I don’t really have anything else to add, other than, you know, they’re meeting, as we expected they would, and it is happening now.

We learned Sunday that the Rangers were one of seven finalists Ohtani had picked, along with the Padres, the Dodgers, the Angels, the Giants, the Mariners, and the Cubs.
