Several Texas Rangers players will be participating in the WBC

Texas Rangers players in the WBC: Per John Blake, seven Texas Rangers players will be on WBC rosters this spring.

Adrian Beltre is part of the roster for the Dominican Republic, Jurickson Profar is on Team Netherlands, Robinson Chirinos and Martin Perez are on the Venezuelan roster, Jonathan Lucroy and Sam Dyson are repping the USA, and Alex Claudio is part of the Puerto Rican roster.

For those who aren’t familiar, the WBC — World Baseball Classic — is an international tournament played every four years. Pool play starts in early March. The U.S. team is in Pool C, along with Canada, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic.
