Texas Rangers pitcher Andrew Cashner is scheduled to resume throwing tomorrow after receiving an injection today, per the beat guys on Twitter. Cashner, who has been dealing with soreness in his right bicep, was shut down from throwing earlier this week, but the issue appears to have been determined to be minor.
Cashner is not expected to be ready for Opening Day, but if there are no addition setbacks, it would seem likely that he should only miss a start or two. He will presumably start the year on the 10 day disabled list.
