Team USA vs Dominican Republic World Baseball Classic GDT

This one's for all the marbles (if you consider marbles to mean advancing to the semifinals to face Japan).

Logan Bowles-USA TODAY Sports

It's win or go home time for two baseball heavyweights. The Dominican Republic won the last World Baseball Classic in 2013 and are looking to repeat while the US has never advanced further than the semis.

With Puerto Rico sweeping their way to a spot in the semifinals out of Pool F, the final spot for a trip to Dodger Stadium is up for grabs.

The Dominican beat the US 7-5 as recently as last Saturday night, so the US will be looking for a measure of revenge while getting to eliminate their international rivals in the meantime. For the Dominicans, it's all about advancing and continuing their reign.

Danny Duffy will make the start for the Americans while Ervin Santana takes the hill for the DR. Here's the lineups:

You can catch the game on MLB Network, MLB.TV, or, if you're in San Diego, maybe head to Petco and watch it live, I don't know.

Go USA! (Except not really, Go Adrian Beltre!)
