Chirinos behind the plate for Texas today

Jeff Banister is sticking with his usual lineup today, except for Jonathan Lucroy getting the day off

With six Rangers having started every game so far this season, I thought that today -- a day game after a night game at the end of a road trip -- might be a day that some of the regulars might sit.

That’s not the case, though, other than behind the plate, where Jonathan Lucroy is getting the day off.

Today’s lineup:

Gomez — CF

Choo — DH

Mazara — RF

Napoli — 1B

Odor — 2B

Elvis — SS

Gallo -- 3B

Chirinos -- C

Profar -- LF

Martin Perez goes up against Oakland starter Jesse Hahn.
