Bibens-Dirkx first start has Beltre at DH

Adrian Beltre is getting a partial day off today, DHing in the rubber match against the Rays

Austin Bibens-Dirkx makes his first major league start today against Tampa Bay, and while he will have Adrian Beltre in the lineup supporting him, Beltre won’t be in the field, as Jeff Banister is opting to put Beltre at DH today.

The lineup:

Choo — RF

Elvis — SS

Mazara — LF

Beltre — DH

Odor — 2B

Lucroy — C

Gallo — 3B

Napoli -- 1B

Hoying — CF

Austin Bibens-Dirkx is, as noted above, the starting pitcher for Texas.
