The MLB Draft is over, short season ball has started up, and thus it is time for us to start doing our Mid-Season Community Prospect Rankings.
You can check out last year’s mid-season rankings here, and lament that four of the top five guys on the list were shipped out soon thereafter.
The offseason list we did this past offseason can be found here, and I believe the only player on the offseason list who is no longer eligible is Jose Leclerc, who was #19 in the voting.
For newbies or those who don’t remember, I put up a list of prospects in the Rangers system, and we all vote on who we think is #1. The highest vote-getter is slotted in at #1, and we move on to #2 the next day. In the event of close votes, we use runoffs.
Players the Rangers draft in 2017 are eligible.
So start thinking about your prospect rankings, and get ready to start voting next week.
