Utility infielder Pete Kozma gets a rare start today behind Yu Darvish in the series finale

Texas is looking to go for the sweep against the Mariners this afternoon, and Jeff Banister is shifting his lineup around, giving utility man Pete Kozma a start, while Mike Napoli gets a day off. Napoli was reportedly not available to speak to reporters after yesterday’s game, which leads me to wonder if this is a regular day off, or if Napoli’s back (or something else) is causing issues.

The lineup:

Choo — RF

Elvis -- SS

Mazara -- LF

Beltre — DH

Odor — 2B

Gomez — CF

Gallo -- 1B

Chirinos — C

Kozma — 3B

Yu Darvish is on the mound for Texas.
