Week 15 recap

The shortest week of the baseball year

MLB: Texas Rangers at Kansas City Royals Jay Biggerstaff-USA TODAY Sports

Season record: 45-46

Week 15 Record: 2-1

Series Record: 13-14, 3 splits

Rangers opened up the second half of the season with a series win against the Kansas City Royals, ending their season series with a 6-1 record.

Rangers are now 5-5 for their last 10 and three games back in the wild card chase.

The All-Star break didn’t slow Claudio down a bit. He pitched an inning in each game this series, needing just a total of 23 pitches.

Cole Hamels brought his scoreless streak up to 21 innings.

The Captain, Adrian Beltre is just 20 hits away from 3,000.

What can I say? Short week, even shorter recap.
