Chirinos for Lucroy only lineup change today

Jeff Banister is sticking with the same group he’s used in the Rangers previous two games, but with Chirinos at catcher instead of Lucroy

The Texas Rangers look to complete the sweep and get to .500 on their road trip today against the Tampa Bay Rays, and Jeff Banister is opting to (mostly) go with the same lineup as he’s used in the first two games, but with Robinson Chirinos catching the day game after the night game instead of Jonathan Lucroy.

The lineup:

Choo — RF

Elvis — SS

Mazara — LF

Beltre — 3B

Napoli — DH

Odor — 2B

Gomez -- CF

Gallo -- 1B

Chirinos — C

Tyson Ross is on the mound for Texas, going up against Jake Odorizzi.
