Texas Rangers rumors: Yu Darvish will be moved, the Rangers are reportedly telling teams, and the Rangers are “confident they will get quality trade” for their righty ace, according to Ken Rosenthal on Twitter.
This is the most definitive word yet we have had on the Darvish situation, and it comes on the heels of indications earlier today that the Rangers were still undecided. Rosenthal is a pretty reliable source for these sorts of things, and while his information could be bad, or the Rangers could be posturing, this seems to signal a potential shift in the overall direction of things.
As for who the suitors might be or what the return would look like, the Yankees and the Dodgers still seem like the most likely candidates. Dodger outfield prospect Alex Verdugo is out of the lineup for AAA Oklahoma City, which set off some alarms, but it is apparently a normal, scheduled day off.
In the meantime, we shall continue to watch, and to wait...
