Good morning.

Some chunce over at WFAA recapped the Rangers’ latest heartbreaker as Texas closed out their road trip with a 6-5 loss.

Stefan Stevenson reacts to the loss and the litany of other Rangers news items from Sunday.

Yu Darvish making the All-Star team for a fourth time is one such item. T.R. Sullivan writes about Darvish’s record-breaking selection.

Stevenson writes about Darvish’s selection as the lone Rangers rep as Elvis Andrus awaits his All-Star fate with the Final Vote.

Sullivan notes how you can vote for Elvis for the final spot on the All-Star team. Elvis is a deserving All-Star this season and arguably should have been selected ahead of backup Francisco Lindor so let’s get him in there.

Matt Fisher ponders the immediate future of Jonathan Lucroy as Lucroy has gone from a perennial All-Star caliber player to usurped by Robinson Chirinos as the primary catcher in Texas in the blink of an eye.

And indeed, according to sources speaking to Evan Grant, the Rangers have made it known that they’re willing to trade Lucroy. Just, uh, don’t expect to see the Rangers acquire a Sweet Lew Brinson, nor a Luis Ortiz, nor probably even a Ryan Cordell back in exchange.

It was Jesse Sanchez Day yesterday, as well. Also known as J-2 Day, or Best Name Day, or the first day teams could sign 16 year olds from the International market. Sanchez notes that the Rangers inked three players on MLB dot com’s top 30 International prospects list.

Grant has more signings including a Disobel, Orcellis, Derwin, Ronier, to go along with Keyber, Wildred, and hopefully a Shohei later this year.

Sullivan previews tonight’s series opener between the Rangers and Red Sox in Arlington with Martin Perez pitching with a broken thumb against the worst AL Cy Young award winner.

And, lastly, here comes 2017 bullpen savior Jason Grilli!

Have a nice day and don’t forget to #ElectElvis!
