Don't forget, there are still two months of games to play

MLB: Texas Rangers at Seattle Mariners Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

Rangers start the week off with a series against the Seattle Mariners.

Hernandez will start Monday’s game and hopefully banter with Beltre to help mend our broken hearts from the deadline.

Seattle is currently in second place in the AL West, 53-53 on the season. They’re 3.5 games back in the wild card 5-5 for their last 10 (as is everyone in the West except Oakland who is 3-7.) Seattle is coming off a series win at home against the Mets.

Rangers are 50-54 on the season but Adrian Beltre has 3000 hits in his career and power hitter Elvis Andrus is using his #DadPower to hit 14 homers and lead the team with a .285 average.

GAME ONE: Hamels vs Hernandez

Hernandez is 5-4 with a 4.08 ERA this season. In his last start he went 5.2 and got the no decision. He gave up four runs on four hits and two walks.

In 51 career starts against the Rangers, Felix is 19-23 with a 3.89 ERA.

Cole is 5-1 on the season with a 3.97 ERA after getting the win against Miami in his last start, going six innings and giving up four runs on four hits and two walks.

In 11 starts against the Mariners, Cole is 5-3 with a 5.12 ERA.

GAME TWO: Not Darvish vs Ramirez

Ramirez is 4-3 with a 4.80 ERA for the season. In his last outing he went 5.1 against the Reds for the win. He gave up two runs on two hits and three walks.

His last start against the Rangers in May, he went 2.1 giving up four runs on six hits and walk. He got the no decision.

In 14 games and five career starts against the Rangers, Ramirez is 0-1 with a 6.06 ERA. In just the five starts, his ERA is 9.31.

GAME THREE: Cashner vs Miranda

Miranda is 7-4 with a 4.31 ERA this season. His last start against the Mets, he went six innings and got the no decision after giving up four runs on five hits and a walk, striking out 10.

Miranda has one start against the Rangers, he’s 1-0. His last start against them was in September of 2016, where he went six innings. Rangers scored three runs (none earned) on three hits and three walks.

Cashner is 6-8 with a 3.48 ERA for the season.

He has five career starts against Seattle, he’s 0-3 with a 3.58 ERA. He’s had two starts against them this year, both were losses.
