The Rangers beat the Astros, 8-3, yesterday.

The Rangers retired Pudge Rodriguez’s number 7 jersey yesterday. The ceremony included a speech from Pudge and a number of prominent former players, as well as many of those who had also worn #7 for Texas.

Rangers players said after the game winning on the night he was honored was special.

The Astros say they aren’t worrying about their poor record so far in the second half.
