The Rangers hitters are cranking up as the season goes on...Nomar Mazara has heated up, and is now back to a respectable OPS, while Elvis Andrus, Joey Gallo and Adrian Beltre continue to mash. Gallo sitting at an 899 OPS on the season in pretty much full time play has to be one of the most positive developments of the 2017 season.
The struggles of Mike Napoli and Rougned Odor continue to be an issue, and while Odor isn’t going anywhere, we could see Napoli start to lose playing time once rosters expand in September, with Ronald Guzman and Willie Calhoun candidates to be called up.
