Saturday morning Rangers news and links

MLB: Texas Rangers at Los Angeles Angels Richard Mackson-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning, folks...

Sigh. For just the second time in the last eight years, we are heading into the final couple of weeks of the season with the Texas Rangers being pretty much out of the playoff race. The Rangers needed to get hot and have some other things break right to grab the Wild Card 2 spot, and instead, they’ve gone into a tailspin, losing four in a row and six of their last seven.

Which means grouchy fans and a lot fewer people wanting to start their mornings reading the morning links. For those of you who are still coming around, thanks.
