Week 24: The one where hopes and dreams fade away

Just when it seemed like the Rangers were gonna make a real run in the wild card race, it all just crumbles away. The Rangers went 2-5 this week to put them six games back, not too long ago they were just two and half back. Those were the days.

While technically they have a chance, they really need to sweep Seattle in these next three games to really stay in it. They’re the only team they play for the rest of the season that’s ahead of them and that would really impact the WC standings.

Considering Seattle just took three of four from the Rangers, it’s hard to imagine the Rangers sweeping them.

I’ll be honest though, it is hard to totally give up on this team when Beltre’s out there getting RBI hits on one leg.

At least we still have Gallo homers, those are always fun to watch!
