Battle For Surprise Game Thread: Texas Rangers vs Kansas City Royals

It’s a Saint Patrick’s Day day/night doubleheader between the Rangers and Royals for Surprise bragging rights

The Rangers and Royals are playing two against each other in Surprise today. In the early game beginning at 3:05 pm CT, Bartolo Colon will match up against KC LHP Eric Skoglund with the Rangers as the road team against their facility mates in Surprise.

The first game is being shown in TV in Kansas City on FSKC so if you have MLB.tv, you can catch it. If not, the radio broadcast will be carried on 105.3 The Fan.

In the nightcap beginning at 8:05 pm CT, the home team Rangers will feature Yohander Mendez on the bump opposite RHP Jakob Junis of Kansas City.
