MLB: Spring Training-Seattle Mariners at Texas Rangers Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning, folks...

Bartolo Colon had a rough outing in the first game yesterday, and the Texas Rangers stretched Jesse Chavez out in the second game. The Rangers have a decision to make on Colon in the next six days.

Rougned Odor and his brother Rougned Odor played together for the first time yesterday.

The Rangers are considering having Joey Gallo bat second in the lineup. Jeff Banister is looking at it in advance of Opening Day, an option that would, with Delino DeShields leading off, potentially get Gallo more fastballs.

Levi Weaver has a story on Hickory manager Matt Hagen living in a van, by choice.

The Rangers’ website notes has stuff on Joey Gallo, Kevin Jepsen and Joe Palumbo.

Evan Grant has notes on Colon, Odor, and Tim Lincecum.

Jeff Wilson has his Surprise Five notes from camp.
