Shin-Soo Choo talks his way into Tuesday Texas Rangers lineup

The Rangers were going to have Willie Calhoun today at DH, but Shin-Soo Choo asked to play instead

The Texas Rangers play the A’s at Mesa today, and Shin-Soo Choo, who originally wasn’t in the lineup, asked to make the trip and play, with the result being that Willie Calhoun starts the game on the bench, and Choo hits third and DHs.

The lineup:

DeShields -- CF

Plouffe — 3B

Calhoun — DH

Rua -- RF

Robinson — LF

Kiner-Falefa — C

Guzman -- 1B

Barney -- SS

Ibanez -- 2B

Bartolo Colon starts for the Rangers.
