Joey Gallo sits, Delino DeShields still out for today’s game

The Texas Rangers take on the Seattle Mariners today — theoretically they do anyway, though it appears storms are in the forecast for Arlington this evening -- and Delino DeShields is not in the lineup, an indication that, despite his stated belief that he’s ready to be activated today, the Rangers apparently aren’t ready to bring him off the disabled list yet.

Joey Gallo is also getting a day off, with Seattle lefthander James Paxton on the mound for the M’s.
