Well this game was on the brink of being unwatchable but then became almost fun and interesting before settling for being as confusing and weird as most Rangers games in 2018 have tended to be.
In the end, the Rangers lost 8-7 on a retroactive balk call and were swept.
Player of the Game: Everyone in the lineup had a hit for Texas except for Jurickson Profar. Six of the Rangers’ nine hitters had at least two hits. Delino DeShields and Adrian Beltre led the way with three hits on the afternoon with Beltre’s third single tying the game with two out in the eighth.
A reason the Rangers could have possibly lost this game despite 16 hits? Just two of them went for extra bases with none heading out over the fence.
Up Next: The Rangers have the day off tomorrow before traveling out west to play the Dodgers for two games before enjoying another off day and then beginning a fresh series back at home against Colorado because the MLB schedule is drunk.
