The Texas Rangers start a three game set in Minnesota today, and do so with a fortified bullpen, as reliever Chris Martin has been activated from the disabled list. He had been put on the d.l. retroactive to last Tuesday after hurting himself banging into a gate coming out of the bullpen during the Robinson Chirinos/Matt Kemp scuffle. Ricky Rodriguez was optioned yesterday to open up a roster spot.
As for today’s lineup, Adrian Beltre is in the field at third base, and Jurickson Profar is getting the day off.
