Shin-Soo Choo’s on base streak lives! Despite going 0-for-4, Choo walked in his final plate appearance in the bottom of the eighth to extend the streak. Choo’s 42 game streak breaks a tie and now sits alone in third place for longest in franchise history.

Choo’s mastery of the art of reaching base is what we’ll have to glom onto today because, despite the White Sox having what very well could be the worst defensive outfield of all time, the Rangers were defeated by Chicago 10-5.

Player of the Game: Rougned Odor brought his good June vibes into July with a 3-for-3 day including two walks, two runs scored, and an RBI.

Up Next: The Rangers have Monday off before beginning a brief Independence-themed two-game series against the Astros in Arlington on Tuesday.
