Good morning. I’ll care about the All-Star Game again when Hans Crouse is starting it.

Levi Weaver reviews the first half starting rotation where, uh, Bartolo Colon was probably the best starter for the Texas Rangers for most of these three and a half months of the season in the year 2018.

T.R. Sullivan notes that Shin-Soo Choo will put The Streak on hold to play in his first All-Star Game tonight in D.C. as the lone Rangers rep.

Jeff Wilson writes that now that Choo is no longer the player who signed for the largest contract to have never been an All-Star, the erroneous perception of him being a bust should be long gone.

David Schoenfield spoke with the feel-good All-Stars of 2018 which includes Choo and hey there’s also Jeremy Jeffress who has been — shockingly to anyone who watched him last year — practically unhittable after escaping Doug Brocail for Milwaukee this season.

Wilson writes that Choo is aware that he’s sort of perpetually on the trading block and though he doesn’t want to leave Texas, he doesn’t want to lose every night, either.

Baseball transactions don’t take a break for the All-Star game as Stefan Stevenson runs down the list of procedural roster moves the Rangers made yesterday.

Have a nice day!
