Tuesday Morning Texas Rangers Update

Welcoming Frankely Hurtado to the fold

MLB: Chicago White Sox at Texas Rangers Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning.

The Rangers signed a bunch of youngsters out of Latin America yesterday on the opening day of International signing, Evan Grant notes.

Jesse Sanchez writes that the Rangers landed top talent Jose Rodriguez out of Venezuela and, as expected, inked Ronald Acuna’s brother Luisangel Acuna.

The Rangers were pretty busy bringing in fresh talent.

Domestically, yesterday the Rangers also signed their 8th round selection, Arkansas Razorback Jax Biggers, which means Texas was able to sign all ten of their pool-dependent selections as promised.

If this has been a development season for the Rangers, Jeff Wilson looks at how things have developed so far at the midway mark of the year.

One of the biggest successes of the season, as Grant writes, has been the defensive transformation from Delino DeShields in center field.

Wesley Dotson writes that the Rangers need your help if they are to be elected All-Stars. I mean, look at third base. Adrian Beltre is sitting there waiting for you to vote for him and it’s not like anyone knows that Jose Ramirez exists.

And, lastly, is Texas Live! hip now?

Have a nice day!
