Adrian Beltre hit an RBI double in the first inning tonight and then the Rangers started dreaming about their impending vacation and about two and a half hours later they were picking up their 94th loss of the season after falling 4-1 in Seattle.
There’s one game to go in 2018. There might be one game to go in Adrian Beltre’s career. *sigh*
Player of the Game:
Beltré hits 636th double of career, his 3,165th hit and his 1,707th RBI.

Tank Update: The Reds finally won a game meaning Texas and Cincinnati have the same record heading into tomorrow’s finale. For Texas to move up to the 7th pick in the draft, however, the Rangers must lose and the Reds must win their finale against Pittsburgh.
Who says the Rangers didn’t have something to play for until the end?
Up Next: The End. Tomorrow, Safeco Field, 2:10 pm CT, Yovani Gallardo vs. LHP Roenis Elias.
