Bartolo Colon had a real clunker in his first start in two weeks tonight and the Rangers lost the game and series to the Angels. Big whoop, right?

Then again, perhaps it’s time for the Rangers to move on from giving Colon starts since there’s exactly zero benefit to it. He’s got his record. Maybe give Adrian Sampson a look or something.

If nothing else, tonight was special for C.D. Pelham as he made his MLB debut. Congrats, Christian Devont’a.

Player of the Game: Adrian Beltre hit his third home run in the last few games of this homestand and his second dong in the last two days. No need to retire now!

Up Next: The Rangers have tomorrow off before opening up a series against the Oakland Athletics on Friday night in Oakland.
