Continuing our look at the final numbers for the Texas Rangers’ various minor league affiliates, today we are checking out the numbers for the hitters for the Spokane Indians, who are in the Northwest League playoffs and who won last night.

While the big name in Spokane for the Rangers, Julio Pablo Martinez, had an underwhelming year, there were a couple of hitters whose lines leap out at you. Diosbel Arias, a less-heralded signee from Cuba last year, had a very impressive .366/.451/.491 slash line while playing all over the infield. Curtis Terry, meanwhile, was named the Northwest League MVP on the strength of his dominant season. And while it was just in a few games, Sherten Apostel, the player to be named later in the Keone Kela trade, continued his pre-trade trend of hitting well, with a .351/.469/.459 slash line, and more walks than Ks.
