The Texas Rangers have announced the managers and coaching staffs for their full season minor league affiliates for 2019.

The Nashville Sounds, in their first year as the Rangers’ AAA affiliate, will be managed by Jason Wood, who was the manager for the Rangers’ AAA affiliate with Round Rock from 2015-18. Howard Johnson will be the hitting coach and Brian Shouse will be the pitching coach — the same positions they held for Round Rock last season. Geno Petralli will be the bench coach and Eric Gagne the bullpen coach.

The Frisco Roughriders are bringing back their same staff from 2018. Joe Mikulik will be the manager, with Jason Hart as the hitting coach, Greg Hibbard as the pitching coach, and Brad Flanders as the bench coach.

The Down East Wood Ducks will be managed by Corey Ragsdale, who will also be the organization’s Field Coordinator, the position he held last year. Steve Mintz will be the pitching coach for the Ducks in 2018, with Chase Lambin as the hitting coach and Turtle Thomas as the bench coach.

The Hickory Crawdads have Matt Hagen returning as manager, with Jose Jaimes and Jared Goedert each back for their fourth seasons as pitching coach and hitting coach, respectively. Josh Johnson, who spent the 2018 season as a coach in the San Diego Padres organization, will be the bench coach.
