Commissioner Rob Manfred was in Arlington for a dog and pony show at the new ballpark but it got ruined by a bunch of Astros nonsense because that’s what Houston does.

He did say that the new ballpark could possibly host an All Star game “real soon” in a noncommittal corporate baseball version of “kiss, but no tongue.”

Manfred also says the park is “cooler than curly fries” or something along those lines and praises the fine citizens of Arlington for subsidizing the ownership group in their construction project.
