MLB Rumors: The New York Yankees have signed Zack Granite to a minor league deal, per reports. The reason I mention this is because Granite spent the 2019 season with the Texas Rangers.

Granite, a 27 year old center fielder, was with the Minnesota Twins until March, 2019, when he was dealt to the Rangers for Xavier Moore and cash. Granite spent the year slashing .290/.331/.375 for Nashville, and though he spent one day in the majors when Joey Gallo was unavailable and Texas needed a spare outfielder on the bench, he didn’t appear in a game for Texas.
