Terrelle Pryor, former Ohio State quarterback and NFL wide receiver, is in critical condition in a Pittsburgh hospital after being stabbed last night. An unidentified woman is in custody.
This is very sad and tragic news for the Pryor family. Pryor, 30, was one of the most highly recruited players in his class in 2008 out of high school, and led Ohio State to three conference titles. He was a third round pick of the Oakland Raiders in the supplemental draft in 2011, and has played for a variety of teams in the NFL since that time as a wide receiver. He most recently was with the Jacksonville Jaguars, who placed him on injured reserve, and then released him in August.
